Sydney Indesign 2015 Wrap Up
After months of planning and preparation and with a huge effort from all of our team we found ourselves opening the doors, ready to go for Sydney Indesign 2015! It was a massive 2 days, with Special Lights hosting the DQ round table at 10AM on Friday to kick things off, joined by some of Australia's hottest emerging designers. What followed was a blur of buses, food, drink and magnificent people. Saturday gave tribute to LED technology with our very own LED Lab, hosted by our head designer and lighting guru Scott where we explored a brief history of the LED, how it works, where it's going and a showcase of some beautiful Italian products from Luce and Light.
Our pièce de résistance had heads turning and people talking, or perhaps it was the models? The Australian debut of Drylight, our weather-proof chandelier by Masiero, was showered all day long by our brother modelling duo Luca and Davide. Roaming photographers and wandering caterers kept our visitors in full swing throughout the event and by Saturday evening we were certainly all exhausted. Special Lights would like to give a massive thank you to all those who visited us during Sydney Indesign and we hope to see you all again soon!
Do you want to know more about LED? Are you confused about LED? What are the benefits of LED?
Scott Fuller our resident lighting guru will help answer questions, talk about where LED started and where it is going along with demonstrating some of our newest LED products.
When: Sydney Indesign Saturday 15th of August 10:30am @ Special Lights Showroom 586 Crown Street Surry Hills NSW 2010.
